Types of traditional lock that the Taylor 500 will complement and replace for entry/exit doors.

The TAYLOR 500 is a locking device that encompasses ALL functions that these traditional types achieve simply, efficiently and cost effectively.

Electric Lock

Electronically operated lock that will lock/unlock a door when energised

Electric Release

Electronically operated strike plate that will lock /unlock a door when energised

Electro-Magnetic Lock

Locking device that when energised (usually with DC) creates a magnetic force strong enough to keep a door firmly closed. Complete with armature plate that is fixed to the door.

Mortice Magnet

 

Electro-Magnetic Lock that is mounted flush into the frame on a sliding door for example and is often used in conjunction with a Transom housing. Not to be confused with a Shear Magnet

Shear Magnet

Magnetic Lock that is concealed in the door frame with a sprung armature plate in the door. Main locking strength achieved by a hardened steel peg locating in a receiver hole

Solenoid Bolt

Electronic operated bolt, usually concealed in the door frame

Solenoid Lock

Electronic operated bolt, usually concealed in the door.
