Electric Lock |
Electronically operated lock that will lock/unlock a door when energised |
Electric Release

Electronically operated strike plate that will lock /unlock a door when energised |
Electro-Magnetic Lock
|
Locking device that when energised (usually with DC) creates a magnetic force strong enough to keep a door firmly closed. Complete with armature plate that is fixed to the door. |
Mortice Magnet
|
Electro-Magnetic Lock that is mounted flush into the frame on a sliding door for example and is often used in conjunction with a Transom housing. Not to be confused with a Shear Magnet |
Shear Magnet |
Magnetic Lock that is concealed in the door frame with a sprung armature plate in the door. Main locking strength achieved by a hardened steel peg locating in a receiver hole |
Solenoid Bolt |
Electronic operated bolt, usually concealed in the door frame |
Solenoid Lock |
Electronic operated bolt, usually concealed in the door. |
