Principal Successes;

In around 1987 Paul French developed “Citywatch” an application using Message Pagers that helped reduce retail theft by up to 30% in those retails centres where the scheme was adopted. He made presentations to virtually all UK Police Forces and major Retailers at National or Main Board level and eventually secured the support of most for the Citywatch scheme. However, as he could not own the technology all paging companies gradually claimed ownership. Now in 2006 there is a need to re-introduce the scheme, which is underway.
